I'm not sure if anyone wants this information, but I can tell you the place in this episode where Michael leaves to go fishing (with the church tower, causeway and jetty) is Stoke Gabriel (my home village). I'm just happy to have seen it on national television (considering its small size) and thought I'd let people know its name as it wasn't actually mentioned in the episode.
I've only just seen this episode on the recent series rerun, so sorry I'm a bit late!

I also echo the sentiments of the previous poster. I, and my dad, too noticed that transforming engine!

They've done it again. The train Michael was on - on the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam railway - was pulled by a tank 4277 (travelling backwards), but the helicopter shots were of a train pulled by the magnificent King Edward I, and I'm sure I spotted yet another train of a double header of tanks travelling forwards, all these were cut together - and I suppose they assume we won't notice?
